Ajeesh A Selvan

Assistant Professor

School of Indian Legal Thought

Mahatma Gandhi University

Mr. Ajeesh A Selvan is a lecturer of law in the School of Indian Legal Thought (Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam). Mr. Selvan was a student of science, during a brief stint at Govt. College Nattakom where he pursued his graduation in Physics. However, it did not take long for him to discover his strong passion for Law and the fascination in being a member of the legal fraternity was always sublime. This brought him to the Government Law College, Thrissur where he graduated in Law and Business Administration and was an active member in all academic and co-curricular events. During this period, he developed a keen interest in Constitutional Laws. This profoundly reflected in his choice to opt for Constitutional Laws and Administrative Laws as his subjects for specialization for his postgraduate programme, which he completed at the School of Indian Legal Thought (SILT). The postgraduate course at SILT was elemental in his choice of profession. The influence of his teachers during his training at SILT is by no small measure, responsible for his desire to become an academician. Soon after completing post-graduation in the third position in his batch, he joined SILT as a guest lecturer.
