She graduated in law from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), India, in 2014. Thereafter, she had worked as a Research Assistant cum Law Clerk to Justice R.K. Agrawal, Judge, Supreme Court of India. After completing her Masters degree in Maritime Law from the National University of Singapore with the Faculty Graduate Scholarship she began her practise as an Associate Partner at a maritime law firm based in Kochi. Since 2019 she was working as an Assistant Professor (on contract) at the NUALS till she joined the SILT as an Assistant Professor in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing part-time PhD from NUALS. Her areas of specialization include maritime law, constitutional law, insurance law, and public international law. She has attended a number of national and international conferences and has number of publications to her credit.
