Mrs. Jasmine Alex did her LLM at School of Legal Studies- CUSAT. She is a rank holder for both LLB and LLM. Her specialization is in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law and her areas of special interests are Constitutional Law , Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law and Environmental Law. She is a permanent faculty of School of Indian Legal Thought. She has also served as guest faculty in the School of Legal Studies-CUSAT, National University for Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Kochi. She has attended many national seminars and conferences, presented papers in them and published articles in various law journals. She was delegated by M.G. University to represent it in the NET Review Committee of UGC at Hyderabad.

Teaching Law: (Total 23 Years)

  • Since 23 May 2006, serving Mahatma Gandhi University as a Permanent University Teacher in Law, in School of Indian Legal Thought which is the Statutory Teaching and Research Department of Mahatma Gandhi University.
  • From 1999 till 23 May 2006, had been a guest lecturer in various institutions including School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, School of Legal Studies, CUSAT and National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.
  • Besides the specialization subjects of Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and Child Rights, areas of interest and teaching experience includes Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Laws, Law Relating to Women, Differently Abled etc.
