Nazreth Ashram Visit – Institutional Social Development Cell Initiatives

The objective of the activity– To make students aware of the mental and physical emotions of the elderly in society to develop their social sentiments or feelings towards senior citizens.

                           F B A NAZARETH ASHRAM is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)/Voluntary Organization (VO)/Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). A non-profit organization that operates independently of any government, typically one whose purpose is to address a social or political issue. Our students visited F B A NAZARETH ASHRAM at Kottayam on January 26th, 2022. They reached there morning around 10.30 and mingled with elderly persons who were abandoned by their children or family at that stage. They conducted an interactive session with them, creating an atmosphere of happiness among them and the students. The program was initiated by the ISD cell and it was put forward by the fourth-year students of the School of Indian Legal Thought with responsibility. For them, it was a blessed moment and they arranged food and other amenities for them according to their needs.

The program was a successful event with lots of blessings and love. Through this activity, the CELL achieved a pathway to do such kind of endeavours in future.
